INGREDIENTS
½ cup old fashioned rolled oats
½ cup plant milk of choice
¼ cup non-fat plant-based yogurt
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon sweetener date or maple syrup
Apple Pie
¼ cup diced apples
1 tablespoon pecans chopped
1 teaspoons maple syrup
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Banana Nut
½ banana sliced
1 tablespoons walnuts
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
METHOD
Place all ingredients into a glass container/jar and mix until combined.
Secure the lid and place in the fridge overnight (2hrs minimum). Toppings can be added the night before or just before serving.
Thin with a little more milk or water, if desired.
Overnight oats can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days. This makes it an ideal breakfast meal prep to make on Sunday night for the week.
